General Warranty Conditions
At SaftyTruck, we ensure the quality and reliability of our services and devices. Below are the warranty conditions for purchased products and subscription devices:
Subscription Devices
- The warranty remains active throughout the subscription period while the service is valid.
- Includes device replacement in case of technical failures not caused by misuse.
- In case of unauthorized tampering, the cost of repair or replacement with a new device will be charged to the customer.
- Coverage includes necessary software updates and maintenance during the subscription period.
Purchased Products
- The warranty is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
- It is essential to retain proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or delivery note).
- If unauthorized tampering is detected, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs.
- The warranty may be extended at an additional cost (check specific conditions).
Warranty Processing
To initiate the warranty process, please contact our customer support team via the contact form on our website (Contact Us).
You will need to provide:
- The serial number of the device (found on the device or its packaging).
- The proof of purchase or subscription contract.
Once the information is received, we will generate a shipping label so you can send the device to us at no additional cost, provided the fault is covered under warranty.
Shipping Covered by Warranty
- Shipping costs are covered by the warranty as long as the defect or failure is not due to improper or unauthorized handling of the product.
- In case of unauthorized tampering, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs and repair or replacement charges.
Warranty Exclusions
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repair attempts.
- Damage resulting from accidents, natural disasters, or external conditions unrelated to the device’s functionality.
- Altered serial numbers, broken warranty seals, or products outside the warranty period.
Transport and Insurance
Before sending a device, ensure it is adequately protected with padded packaging to avoid damage during transit. If the device is damaged during shipping due to inadequate packaging, we cannot assume responsibility.
If the shipment is affected by accidents during transit, insurance will cover the device's value excluding VAT, provided the packaging was appropriate.
Data Preservation
To protect your privacy, delete all personal information stored on the device before sending it. SaftyTruck is not responsible for data loss during the warranty process.
